Challenge Me Monday - #118 Kaboom! Firework Celebration

Close up of the firwork and the 'July 4th' overalapping.  The paper that I used for the firework is a silver glittery, which looks like white in the picture.

Hope you all had a great weeekend!  I spent my weekend spending some much needed time with girlfriends on Friday night & then my husband and I met one of my best friends and her husband for dinner...so I didn't get much time to do any craft projects this weekend.  With it being Monday...you know what that means though.....it is time for another Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut!! :)

#118 - Kaboom! Firework Celebration - Make a project with a firework, sparkler or other big "boom".

The project that I submitted for the project is a page that I made for the 4th of July as my husband & I are both off of work and going to spend the day together...I have a list of pages to do on my 'To Do List' and thought that this would be perfect to make.  I will only have to attach a photo along with some twine around the photo, journal and put in our scrapbook for the year. :) Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!!

Recipe for this project:
- Fireworks from Stand and Salute Cricut Cartridge
- '4' from Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge
- 'July' & 'th' from Designer's Calendar Cricut Cartridge

Challenge Me Monday - #113 Memorial Day

Happy Monday!!  It is time for another Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut!! :)

#113 - Memorial Day - Make a project using the color red plus anything that makes you think of Memorial Day (ie. a flag, military symbol, or poppy).

The project that I have to share today for the challenge is a layout that I made to to attach photos with room to journal for this Memorial Day weekend.  I bought The Paper Studio, A2 Tiny Stars embossing folder and have been wanting to use it for a project, so this was a perfect project to use it on.  I used the embossing folder on the 'Memorial Day' & the white paper backing the navy paper for the photos to be inserted onto the layout.  Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!!

Recipe for this project:
- Memorial Day from Desinger's Calendar Cricut Cartridge cut at 2.5
