The card that I made for the challenge is for a good friend of mine that I work with, who invited me to spend this past weekend at her lake house with her & her family.  It was some well needed time away...hanging out on their boat, doing some tubing, swimming around their dock to soak up some sun & eating some good grilled food.  :)  I am giving her this card to thank her for the relaxing weekend! I have wanted to do a weaving with some paper & this was the perfect time to make a 'table cloth' for the card to go with the theme.  Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!!

Challenge Me Monday - #115 Father's Day

Happy Monday!!  I hope you had a nice weekend!!  It has been very warm in the midwest this weekend, which kept me indoors most of the time where I was able to get some things & projects done!  With it being Monday....it is time for another Challenge Me Monday at Fantabulous Cricut!! :)

#115 - Father's Day - Make a card using an outdoors theme; hunting, fishing, hiking, ect.

The project that I have to share today for the challenge is a card that I made for my dad for Father's Day.  My poor father was 'blessed' to only have daughters...so I have always done things with my father that he would normally have done with a son, like building things whether that be a shed or furniture, fishing, watching sports. ect.  He even calls be Melvin, which I have come to expect and think is cute.  :)  The older we get, I have come to really appreciate the time that I have with my father, so while making this card, it brought a smile to my face while thinking back on memories of when we would go fishing together.  Thanks for stopping by & taking a peek!!
